Residential Manager Supported Living - West Sussex

About Us:-

Our client a specialist provider of Supported Living and Residential Care in the Sussex area are seeking a dedicated & dynamic Residential Manager for their supported living service in West Sussex.

Located in the breath taking Sussex countryside, the service specialises in supporting individuals with Autism, Learning Disabilities and Epilepsy. They are committed to providing exceptional supported living services to their residents whilst empowering and enriching the lives of those they support, fostering independence and well-being in a nurturing environment.

Your Role:-

From ensuring the service runs smoothly and achieves quality excellence, to encouraging personal growth & development of the team – every day is unique. Through leadership and support you will make a difference to your team and the people you support.

* Enable the people you support to lead a fulfilling life and to maximise their independence to enable them to achieve their full potential.

* Ensure the wellbeing of the team is prioritised and that they are given the appropriate tools and opportunities to excel in their current role and future career.

* Ensure the service is run in an efficient and responsible manner, balancing the achievement of budget with the ethos of excellent quality.

* Effectively manage financial performance, with financial resources appropriately managed & controlled.

* Promote quality assurance, working towards legal, clinical, statutory, and organisational obligations, to develop effective work strategies and processes, ensuring that the home is run in an efficient and responsible manner.

* Ensure full and accurate reporting of management information, maximising quality and compliance.

* The role requires you to be registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

About You

To be successful in this role, you will:

* Have plenty of experience working with those with Learning Disabilities or complex behaviours

* Be an experienced Manager looking for a new challenge – with a background in Supported Living or Residential Services.

* Have a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care – support and training towards Level 5 is available.

* Bring strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.

* Be confident, flexible and efficient – you’re happy to work on a shift basis and, where required, be on call.
