NEOS Engineering are currently working with a growing and well-respected machinery dealer who are looking to appoint an experienced Service Manager to lead their aftersales and engineering function.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven Service Manager who understands heavy plant machinery and thrives in a fast-paced operational environment.

The Role

As Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the full service operation including workshop and field engineers.

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing and developing a team of service engineers
Overseeing workshop and field service scheduling
Ensuring high levels of customer service and SLA delivery
Driving service revenue, profitability and utilisation
Managing warranty processes and technical support
Maintaining high standards of health & safety and compliance
Working closely with parts and sales departments to ensure seamless customer support
The Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

Has strong experience within heavy plant / construction machinery
Has previously managed workshop and/or field service teams
Is commercially aware and understands service P&L performance
Has strong organisational and leadership skills
Is confident dealing with customers and resolving technical issues
Comes from a mechanical and/or electrical engineering background
