Job Description

The Role:\n\nWithin this role, you will be working as a part of an experienced workshop team, ensuring their vehicles are finished to the highest standard for their customers, under the support and guidance of the supervisor and Workshop Manager.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n * Carry out general servicing of vehicles.\n\n * Undertake general tyre changing duties for a variety of vehicles.\n\n * Undertake road and ramp testing and inspection as and when required.\n\n * Carry out all repairs in line with approved methods to restore the vehicle to its original condition.\n\n * Plan and organize time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed within set deadlines, achieving efficiency.\n\n * Assist with general workshop tasks as and when required\n\n * Diagnose problems on vehicles in the workshop and if needed undertake electrical diagnosis on vehicles\n\n * Deal with warranty repairs in line with manufacturer standards\n\n * Ensure all the relevant documentation is accurately completed and all company procedures are followed\n\nSkills and expertise:\n\n * Previous experience in a similar role as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic\n\n * Qualified to City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) (essential)\n\n * Full UK Driving Licence\n\n * Willing to support junior techs and offer support/expertise when needed.\n\n * Passionate to work within the motor industry and take pride in their work, to the highest standards of work set by customers\n\n * You will need to work independently on vehicles and have experience to make decisions when required\n\n * Excellent attention to detail\n\nWorking hours:\n\nMonday to Friday\n\nService Technician - (phone number removed)pm\n\nVehicle Technician - (phone number removed)pm\n\nJob Type: Temp to perm
