Role: ServiceNow - Senior Architect (ITSM, HRSD)

Location: London, UK (hybrid)

Number of hours: 40 hours per week – Fixed Term (full time)


The Role

As a ServiceNow – Senior Architect, you will provide architectural leadership across ServiceNow

ITSM and HRSD implementations. You will review requirements, define architectural approaches,

and ensure solutions meet technical, security and compliance standards. You will contribute to

enterprise roadmaps, lead design decisions, guide technical teams and ensure alignment with

platform capabilities and customer objectives. This role requires hands-on architectural expertise,

strong understanding of ServiceNow modules, and experience delivering complex implementations involving integrations, custom applications, migrations and upgrades. You will work closely with business and IT stakeholders, offering guidance, mentorship and best-practice recommendations to ensure robust and scalable platform delivery.


Key responsibilities:

• Understand customer business and IT processes to shape solution architecture.

• Engage with stakeholders to capture stated and unstated requirements and assess

alignment with ServiceNow capabilities.

• Define architecture and solution designs for new HRSD/ITSM implementations and

enhancements.

• Lead design activities for ongoing maintenance and improvement of existing ServiceNow

applications.

• Ensure solutions meet agreed security, audit and compliance requirements.

• Provide architectural guidance and thought leadership to customers and TCS teams.

• Share best practices and mentor teams on ServiceNow development and design standards.

• Support application implementation and testing methodologies.

• Ensure alignment between business requirements, technical solutions and platform strategy.


Your Profile

• Strong experience across ITSM and HRSD ServiceNow modules.

• Hands-on experience configuring and customising HR Service Delivery applications, including HR

Case Management, HR Knowledge Management, Employee Service Center, Enterprise

Onboarding & Transitions, Employee Document Management and HR Performance Analytics.

• Integration experience with major HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors).

• Experience delivering ServiceNow support, maintenance, migrations, upgrades, integrations and

implementations.

• Ability to design technical solutions from customer requirements and translate into functional

specifications.

• Strong understanding of ITIL processes with ability to map requirements to ITIL and industry

standards.

• Experience reviewing ServiceNow licence data and monitoring compliance.

• Mandatory certifications: ServiceNow System Administrator, ServiceNow HRSD Implementation

Specialist, ITIL v3 Foundation.


Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:

• Ability to evaluate platform stability, performance and optimisation opportunities.

• Experience contributing to Agile planning meetings and retrospectives.

• Ability to proactively analyse and resolve application issues.

• Experience defining best practices for deployment, architecture and platform maintenance.

• Knowledge of additional ServiceNow modules such as SecOps, SPM or ITOM.

• TOGAF or equivalent architecture certification.
