Morgan Hunt are currently recruiting an experienced Clerk of Works for a 6 month contract to oversee construction, refurbishment, and maintenance projects across properties. You will act as the principal site inspector, ensuring all works meet required standards of quality, safety, and compliance. Key Responsibilities Carry out regular site inspections to monitor workmanship and materials Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and building regulations Monitor contractor performance and enforce health & safety standards (CDM) Identify defects and oversee remedial works Maintain site records and produce progress reports Liaise with contractors, consultants, and council teams Requirements Proven experience in a Clerk of Works or similar inspection role Strong knowledge of construction methods and building regulations Ability to read technical drawings and produce clear reports Membership of ICWCI or relevant construction qualification (desirable) Full UK driving licence Morgan Hunt is a multi-award-winning recruitment Business for interim, contract and temporary recruitment and acts as an Employment Agency in relation to temporary vacancies.
