Opportunity Summary:
We have a vacancy for a Setter/Operator CNC Miller.
Role Accountabilities:?

• Use and control of CNC programsin accordance withrelevant procedures.
• Ability to read and understand CNC code to the levelrequiredfor machine set up and?operation.
• Understand all set up parameters and the effect that they have on the process, for example, datum setting and tool length and wear offsets.
• Set up machines with the required work holding and toolingin accordance withrelevant?procedures.
• Working as a team to maximise machine utilisation.
• Working to structured manufacturing plan.
• Responsible for setting andoperatinga 3-5 Axis CNC Milling/Turning Machines.
• Responsible for quality output.
• Responsible for Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM).
• Capable of using measuring equipment such asmicrometers, Vernier Callipers, Height Towers, Shadow Graphs, CMM etc.

Person Specification:

• 5 years experience in the Aerospace/Automotive Industry in a similar role.
• Apprentice trained preferred ordemonstratedrelevant experience.
• Working to production timelines in a manufacturing environment.
• Working with SOPs and Company specific documentation.
• Self-driven, results orientated, with a positive outlook.
• Able to get on with others and be a team-player.
• Attention to detail and accuracyat all times.
• Working to deadlines.
• Managing workload effectively, prioritising where necessary.
