These are a 12 month contract with the likelihood of extension. Location: Barrow in Furness No less than 37 hours worked 33 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays Overtime available but not guaranteed What you'll be doing: Fabricate, assemble, and install, sheet metal items, including the use of welding and fabrication equipment on the Astute and/or Dreadnought class submarines whilst under construction Background experience: Experience of submarine /shipbuilding construction would be an advantage. Any industrial experience is beneficial Qualifications: Apprenticeship In Sheet Metal Work, Industrial Experience Is Key Shifts can vary and you must be flexible. Predominant shift patterns 3 on 4 off and nights: 3 on 4 off - Locals: £24.12 PAYE Non locals: £32.12 PAYE(Umbrella rates also available) Nights - Locals: £26.73 PAYE Non locals: £34.73 PAYE (Umbrella rates also available) You will need to live 39+ miles or more to be classed as a non local Full rate card available on request These are immediate starts subject to gaining full security clearance.
