Job Description Sheet Metal Worker / TIG Welder required in Runcorn- £40-42,000 per annum
Our client is looking for a Sheet Metal Worker / TIG Welder to join their engineering team at their site in R uncorn .
Your role will primarily be workshop based with some site work.
Key Responsibilities
\n
Fabricate and assemble sheet metal and mechanical components utilising a variety of tools and machinery
\n
Perform high quality TIG welding on stainless steel, Duplex and other metals as required
\n
The role requires manual handling, standing for long periods, lifting and working with heavy materials, so candidates should be comfortable with physical tasks.

\n Working Pattern: Days Monday to Thursday
\n
\n Pay: £40-42,000 per annum
\n
\n Contract: Temporary to Permanent
\n
Experience and qualifications/knowledge/skills
\n
Apprentice trained to a minimum of Level 3 in Sheet metal fabrication /welding
\n
Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication and TIG Welding
\n
Previous experience within a Manufacturing environment would be advantageous
\n
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, ensuring accuracy in all manufactured components.
