Job Details:
Pay: Up to £17.42 per hour
Hours of Work: 7:45am to 4:45pm Monday to Thursday, 7:45am to 12:45pm Friday (39 hours per week)
Duration: Permanent

Job Role: As a Sheet Metal Worker, you will be responsible for manufacturing fabricated metal parts and assemblies using a variety of materials including mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium. The Sheet Metal Worker will set and operate workshop machinery such as a brake press to bend and form metal in line with engineering drawings, while also carrying out finishing processes including linishing, deburring, grinding, and polishing to a high standard.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
Proven experience working as a Sheet Metal Worker with sheet metal/thin gauge steel
Strong background in metal bending and forming
Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings
Experience operating a brake press machine
