Hours: 38.75 hours per week

• Monday – Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pm
• Friday: 7:00am – 11:45am

Overtime: Paid after 38.75 hours at time and a half
Salary: £30,517 – £41,820 (depending on experience)

A UK engineering and manufacturing company is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join their fabrication team.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily fabrication operations within the production team
• Manufacture and finish components to company specifications and quality standards
• Read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings
• Work with steel and fabricated components in line with production requirements
• Prioritise workload in line with project plans and deadlines
• Ensure work is completed within cost and time targets
• Assist with maintenance of equipment when required
• Support quality assurance procedures and company standards
• Contribute to R&D and process improvement activities where required

Candidate Requirements

Essential:

• Experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
• Ability to read and work from technical engineering drawings
• Experience with welding and fabrication processes
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong planning and workload management skills
• Awareness of health and safety in a workshop environment

Desirable:

• Experience with sheet metal fabrication
• Stainless steel fabrication experience
• Experience in FMCG industries (food, beverage, pharma, etc.)
• Background in a structured fabrication department
