As part of our world-class, performance-focused team you will have the opportunity to support the EHS & Production Manager at our Dumfries site.

Working Monday Friday 8am 4.30pm for a 37.5 hour week, the right candidate will support the full range of administration, to assist in raising the profile of safety and environmental management across the site.

Duties & Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Assist with the promotion of safety culture / awareness taking into account behaviours and attitudes
  • Minute taking in meetings in relation to EHS compliance
  • Promote the use of hazard reporting mechanisms to increase reporting / resolution figures
  • Assist in co-ordinating fire management on site
  • Assist in the improvement of communication with tool-box talks, communication screens, and meetings
  • Conduct Staff Inductions
  • Provide support for the EHS & Production Manager

Experience and Skills Required:

  • IOSH Managing Safely
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be able to handle multiple priorities
  • Good written and presentation skills
  • Strong IT skills and ability to analyse data
  • Minimum of 2 years in a Manufacturing environment (desirable)
  • Experience of continuous improvement (desirable)
