SHEQ Manager – Data Centre, North Acton Location: North Acton, London Contract: Full-time, site-based Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30–17:30 or 08:00–18:00
Fairmead are currently recruiting a SHEQ Manager for a major data centre project in North Acton. This is a site-based position requiring a hands-on, proactive health and safety professional.
Key Responsibilities
*
Conduct regular site inspections and proactive monitoring of works
*
Lead on incident investigations and advise on corrective actions and safety improvements
*
Liaise with the client on all health, safety, and environmental matters
*
Provide guidance on compliance with legal requirements and best practice
*
Lead bi-weekly Supervisor Safety meetings and participate in weekly site walks and H&S reviews
*
Monitor SHE performance, training needs, and competency requirements
*
Support with RAMS development and ensure documentation meets required standards
Requirements
*
NEBOSH Construction Certificate (minimum)
*
CSCS Black or White card
*
5+ years’ experience in a similar role, ideally with subcontractor background
*
Strong experience writing RAMS and developing safe systems of work
*
Knowledge of temporary works and major construction project environments
