12 hour shifts days and nights

As Shift Electrician, you'll be responsible for Electrical maintenance, repairs and fault finding of plant equipment to minimise downtime. You'll be required to complete preventative maintenance as required and support other shift engineering and day functions in their tasks to ensure engineering uptime is maintained and plant downtime is minimised, working safely alongside all plant functions to ensure a zero-harm safety culture is achieved.

Your duties will include:

• Diagnosing malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate and troubleshoot problems
• Testing electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing equipment, to ensure compatibility and safety of systems.

The Key Requirements

• Minimum apprentice time served in electrical discipline
• Experience of working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to read schematics and other technical documents
• HV experience highly desirable but not essential
• Knowledge of servo motors, PLC's and variable speed drives
