ECHO Personnelis hiring aShift Maintenance Engineerfor one of our clients based inCorby a well-established leader in the plastic recycling and packaging manufacturing industry.THIS IS A PERMANENT ROLEAs a Shift Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of production equipment, carrying out preventative maintenance and urgent repairs to minimise downtime and support continuous operations across the site.Pay:£45,000.00 per yearShifts:PANAMA Shift 6am to 6pm /6pm to 6am 3 on 2 offFull rota provided in advanceKey Responsibilities:Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with schedule and documentation standardsRespond quickly to plant and production breakdowns, prioritising urgent issuesRepair equipment efficiently to minimise downtime and support production flowMaintain a clean and safe engineering workshop and uphold site safety practicesAssist with the management of engineering job lists and shift handoversCommunicate effectively with the Engineering Manager, Shift Supervisors, and other departmentsSupport compliance by ensuring PPE, Safe Working Procedures, and housekeeping standards are followedMonitor spare parts and report critical requirements to managementRequirements:Engineering/maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environmentStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsProactive approach to maintenance and health & safetyAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamFlexibility to work rotating shifts and handle unplanned tasks as neededIf youre interested, please apply by submitting your CVJBRP1_UKTJ
