Our client operates a major manufacturing facility on the outskirts of Inverness, specialising in engineered wood products made from responsibly sourced and sustainably managed materials.

Currently looking for a Shift Mechanical Fitter to join their well established team. Reporting to the Mechanical Supervisor and shift manager duties will include but not limited to
Repair of mechanical breakdowns throughout the plant Carry out preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment as required Identify and report any signs of equipment failure Ensure all documentation is kept up to date Install and commission equipment and services as requested Adopt and maintain good engineering and housekeeping procedures in all work areas Work carried out in accordance with permit to work code of practice Assist with other engineering work when and where required as directed by Mechanical supervisor
Essential Requirements Minimum xbpsjku City & Guilds/ONC level in a mechanical discipline Full 4-year apprenticeship completed Industrial maintenance experience preferred A strong health and safety awareness and the ability to work unsupervised
