Now they need a Shift QA Manager who can hold the line on quality when the pressure is on.

A fantastic opportunity for a Senior QA Supervisor ready to step up, or for an established Shift QA Manager looking to further develop and broaden their impact.

Backshift is different. Fewer senior people on site. More reliance on influence. Higher expectations from major retail customers. This role sits shoulder-to-shoulder with Production, driving standards on the shop floor through QA Team Leaders and QA teams.

It’s not about hiding behind policies.

It’s about presence.

Influence without relying on job title alone.

You’ll work closely with the Site Technical Manager and QA Manager, with real exposure and genuine progression potential. For the right person, this could be the step from supervisor into true management.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Understands food manufacturing (ideally high-care environments).
• Knows what the major UK retailers expect.
• Can influence, challenge, and build relationships across Production.
• Wants responsibility.
