Shift Team Leader Energy from Waste Power StationExcellent Salary + Bonus + BenefitsSouth WestSCINERGY Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Shift Team Leader to join a leading Energy from Waste operator at their site in the South West near Exeter.As a Shift Team Leader you will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant plant operations whilst leading a shift team of Operators.The RoleKey responsibilities of the Shift Team Leader include:Leading and supervising a team of Control Room & Assistant Operators ensuring efficient operation of the power stationEnsuring the plant operates in line with environmental permits and site proceduresActing as an SAP, managing safe systems of work including permits Coordinating shift activities, including staff and contractor supervisionSupporting training, development, and progression of operational personnelWorking closely with maintenance teams to minimise downtime and maximise availabilityMaintaining a strong health & safety culture across all shift activitiesAbout YouWere looking for an experienced operations professional with a strong background in power generation and a proven ability to lead teams in a safety-critical environment.Youll ideally have:Experience as a Shift Team Leader / Production Team Leader or Lead Operator within a power generation environment or similar EFW, biomass, coal, CCGT, CHPA relevant technical engineering qualification (NVQ, C&G, HNC, BTEC etc)Experience as a Senior Authorised PersonStrong experience supervising operational teams and coordinating contractorsGood H&S awareness and understanding IOSH or NEBOSH is desirableA flexible approach to working 12-hour shift patternsWhats on OfferExcellent base salary + shift allowancePerformance-related bonus Overtime opportunitiesCompany pension schemeThe opportunity to join a well-invested, high-performing Energy from Waste siteFor more information or to apply please contact Steve Utton at SCINERGY Recruitment on 07441 955 901 or click apply belowJBRP1_UKTJ
