We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Shipping Department/Office Manager to take ownership of our busy front office and play a key role within the business.

Shipping Department/Office Manager Role Overview:
This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has strong knowledge of international imports and office management.
Shipping Department/Office Manager Key Responsibilities:
Managing the day-to-day operations of the front office
Full responsibility for shipping and import procedures, including:

FOB, CIF, DDP
HS Codes
Liaising with freight forwarders, customs agents, and suppliers
Overseeing the UK office side of distribution
Handling general office and administrative functions
Managing financial and accounting processes, including:

Purchase Ledger
Sales Ledger
Month End and Year End procedures
Ensuring accurate documentation, compliance, and smooth workflow across departments
Shipping Department/Office Manager Skills & Experience Required:
Proven experience in shipping, imports and logistics
Strong working knowledge of international import processes
Confident handling office and accounting procedures
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Able to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
Good communication skills and a professional approach
Excellent IT skills
Office management experience
