Shipping Manager / Coordinator (6 Month Contract) Monday to Friday, 8:00am 4:30pm (37.5 hours per week) Pay Rate: Up to £23.00 per hour depending on experience About the Role We are supporting our client, a well-established chemical distribution company, with the recruitment of a temporary team member to join their Shipping Department based at their Elland warehouse.

This position is available at Shipping Manager level, though our client is also open to considering candidates with a solid background in shipping or logistics administration, provided they have proven experience and confidence working with structured shipping processes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting import/export activities, ensuring accurate shipping documentation, coordinating with freight providers and colleagues, and maintaining a professional and efficient shipping operation. Key Responsibilities Ensure the efficient and cost-effective delivery of both imported and exported goods Maintain all required shipping documentation, including letters of credit and banking documents Liaise with freight providers to obtain quotations and confirm accurate package weights and dimensions
