Our client, an esteemed entity within the aerospace sector, is currently seeking a proficient Shop Floor Manager to join their dynamic team under an initial 6 month contract position.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing the team: Lead and develop the team, enabling them to meet operational objectives whilst complying with and enforcing company guidelines for safety and quality. Managing production activities: Plan, direct and control production activities, ensuring fulfilment of operational objectives by maximising On Time Start (OTS) and On Time Finish (OTF). Developing preventative activities: Enforce preventive measures to minimise occupational and environmental risks. Communication: Facilitate effective communication within the team, ensuring clarity of operational objectives and expectations. Ensuring team qualifications/certifications: Ensure team members possess requisite qualifications and certifications.
