We are recruiting for an experienced and enthusiastic Shop Manager in 1 of our 7 retail food outlets across the City of London and Canary Wharf .

Birleys has been the home of the finest breakfast and lunch sandwiches, platters, buffets, soups and salads since the early 1980S.

As an Shop Manager your duties will include, but not limited to:

- Coordinate the preparation, presentation and the sale of hot and cold sandwiches and salads from our deli style counters 

-Manage a team of up to 14 staff, maintaining high standards and providing excellent customer service.

-Be focused, passionate and well organised with the ability to handle pressure whilst working flexible hours as required by the operations.

-Control of food and labour costs as well as staff rotas, food ordering and stock control

-Ensuring health and safety and food safety standards are continuously met

-Maintaining high standards across the day to day operations of the store

-5 days a week between Monday to Sunday with some flexibility required
