Job Description: Showroom Assistant – London – Temporary 6 month Contract


We are currently seeking a full time Showroom Assistant for the MaxMara wholesale showroom team at our London head office, with an immediate start.


Main Responsibilities:


Supporting In-Market Activities:


  • Setting up the showrooms for campaign alongside the Sales / VM team
  • Assisting sales managers and the retail team in reviewing key account sell-through reports.
  • Support sales managers with clients’ orders during the campaign such as tracking changes on buy sheets, entering provisional orders + any extra related activities.
  • Assisting showroom manager with sample inventory, showroom set up/pack down, press requests, etc.
  • Assisting in appointments where required with SM’s – writing up orders, resetting the standards after appointments, ensuring the diary is adhered to.
  • Purchase Order checking throughout the campaign alongside the logistics team.
  • Offer refreshments and manage hospitality needs during client visits, meetings, and events.


Supporting Out of Market Activities:


  • Supporting showroom manager with staff training / press day / sample management and any on-going projects such as events / research projects etc.
  • Manage key account samples, photoshoot samples / press requests alongside the showroom manager.
  • Support on store visits with VM store visits / pop up’s etc. (Can be scheduled weekly).
  • Prepare & distribute seasonal GWP / gifting to clients with the VM team.
  • Front-of-House Duties: Greeting guests and handling phone inquiries.
  • Ensuring showroom standards are maintained consistently


Key Technical Skills:


  • Strong planning and organisational skills.
  • Advanced use of Excel and effective use of Word.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Good interpersonal skills, with strong ability to successfully interact with all stakeholders, at all levels.
