Main purpose of the role
The role is to support a global investment manager client. It commences as soon as possible for a 3‑6 month period, requiring five days per week in the London office.
Broad generalist role covering commercial and corporate matters.
Review procurement contracts – hardware and software.
Review commercial contracts – travel, sponsorship, donation agreements.
Corporate governance – engagement letters for auditors, financial services, resolutions, director changes and entity set up.
Monitor regulatory changes and developments within financial services.
Person specification
Minimum 3 years PQE.
Qualified lawyer with experience in leading private practice or in‑house corporate/commercial work.
Ideal experience in financial services and/or investment management.
Experience in regulatory space is helpful.
Problem‑solving and collaborative approach.
Ability to work dynamically and fast‑moving environments.
Strong organisational skills, effective prioritisation, and meet tight deadlines.
Can work autonomously but collaborates as part of the team.
Right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship not available).
