Ward Sister/Charge Nurse- Neuro Rehab
London: The Wellington Hospital 
Full time: Monday - Sunday 37.5 hours per week 
Shift times: Flexible to work, long days, nights and weekends based on internal rotation.  

Permanent Contract:  
Salary: competitive (DOE) plus shift allowance  

 

We're looking for a sister/Charge Nurse to join our Neuro-Rehab team at  

The Wellington Hospital 

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated nurse with exceptional skills and knowledge in Neuro Rehab to assist in leading the way in the provision of outstanding patient care within HCA  

We're the largest neurosciences unit in London, which means we can care for patients with a wide range of complex neurological conditions and provide advanced, specialised care - and you'll be part of a team making that happen.  

 

This role is both exciting and challenging; the skills required are both based on an experience of managing this specialist patient group but also utilizing a strong evidence base.  

The charge nurse will work with the manager and matron to deliver high quality and innovative nursing practice in line with HCA mission and vision, national guidelines and standards.

What you'll bring:  

 

  • Experience working in Neuro Rehab inpatient setting essential 

  • Experience in the provision of staff education within Neuro Rehab(local level)  

  • Current nursing registration (First Level) through the Nursing & Midwifery Council  

  • To be willing to undertake relevant post-registration courses  

  • ILS provider course completed and qualification in required upon hire, or within 3 month of hire 

  • Management experience/leading a team
