Site Agent – Desalination Project

Red Sky Personnel is recruiting on behalf of a leading, well-established civil engineering contractor delivering a major desalination infrastructure project at Sizewell. This is a flagship scheme forming part of a wider programme of works supporting critical utilities and long-term regional infrastructure.

This is an opportunity to play a key role on a technically complex project involving heavy civils, water infrastructure and large-scale engineering within a highly regulated environment.

The Role

As Site Agent, you will take ownership of key civils packages, ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality delivery in line with programme requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day site operations across earthworks, reinforced concrete structures, drainage, pipelines and associated infrastructure works

Ensure all works are delivered safely in line with CDM regulations and company health & safety procedures

Manage and coordinate subcontractors, Site Engineers and Supervisors to maintain programme delivery

Monitor progress against programme and provide regular updates to the Project Management team

Ensure all works are delivered to specification, quality standards and inspection requirements

Manage site documentation including RAMS, ITPs, permits and reporting

Liaise with client representatives, design teams and key project stakeholders

Support commercial performance by monitoring labour, plant and material utilisation

What We’re Looking For

Degree qualified in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)

Proven experience as a Site Agent or Sub Agent within civil engineering projects

Strong background in heavy civils — including reinforced concrete, pipelines and drainage

Experience delivering major infrastructure or utilities projects

Demonstrable experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams

Strong knowledge of health & safety, quality assurance and compliance processes

Experience working within regulated or complex project environments
