My client is an established, leading, National Civil Engineering Contractor. Due to planned growth and an influx of work in their Southern Region, they are looking to appoint, on a contract basis, a Site Agent / Senior Site Agent to work initially on two civils schemes in the Northampton area. The main project comprises an upgrade of a roundabout, drainage, subway and parapet refurbishment with associated kerbing drainage etc. The project will also involve extensive temporary works. The company have an established Agent and a Foreman on site and 4-5 gangs so there is already an established team in place, but they need someone who is client facing that can help with the ongoing works. They are expecting the project to run until at least the end of the year, so this is a great opportunity for the successful candidate to make a strong impression with a very well-respected contractor. Key Responsibilities Management of site staff operatives and sub-contractors. Preparing and monitoring programmes of work Provide method statements, hazard risk assessments and project management plans.
