Site Agent

New Yesterday

We are recruiting an experienced Site Agent to work on a major tunnel and shaft project utilising SCL (Sprayed Concrete Lining) techniques. This is a long-term opportunity on a technically challenging civil engineering scheme with a well-established contractor.

You will take responsibility for managing day-to-day site activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

*

Management of tunnelling and shaft construction works using SCL methods

*

Supervision of subcontractors and direct labour

*

Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards

*

Short-term planning, RAMS, and permits to work

*

Coordination with engineers, site teams, and project management

*

Progress reporting and input into programme and cost control

*

Ensuring works are delivered in line with specifications and design

Requirements

*

Proven experience as a Site Agent on tunnelling and shaft projects

*

Strong background in SCL / sprayed concrete works

*

Solid civil engineering and heavy infrastructure experience

*

SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), First Aid

*

Temporary Works Coordinator (desirable)

*

Ability to manage complex works in a high-risk environment

Competitive £380 – £480 per day

Outside IR35 engagement

CIS or PAYE only – no Ltd companies
