Job Title: Highways Site Agent

Location: North East England Rate: £350 – £400 per shift Project: National Highways SDF Framework Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced Highways Site Agent to join a major infrastructure programme delivering works under the National Highways Scheme Delivery Framework (SDF) in the North East. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a long-term framework, contributing to the delivery of essential highway improvements and maintenance schemes. Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day site operations ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams effectively Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards Coordinate with the project management team to ensure programme milestones are achieved Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documentation Produce and manage site documentation including RAMS, permits, and progress reports Liaise with stakeholders including National Highways representatives and local authorities Requirements: Proven experience as a Site Agent on highways or major infrastructure projects Previous experience working on National Highways frameworks (SDF xehkeey experience highly desirable) Strong leadership and communication skills SMSTS CSCS (Black) First Aid certification Knowledge of NEC contracts Full UK driving licence If you are a driven Site Agent looking for your next challenge within a high-profile highways framework, we would love to hear from you.
