Job Title: M&E Site Manager

Location: Leicestershire Start Date: 9th March 2026 Contract Duration: 10 Weeks Rate: £300+ per day (DOE)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced M&E Site Manager to oversee a CHP (Combined Heat & Power) replacement project within a live hospital environment in Leicestershire. This is a critical role requiring strong technical expertise, excellent stakeholder management, and the ability to maintain strict safety, compliance, and operational continuity within a sensitive healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the on‑site delivery of a CHP replacement project from mobilisation through to handover. Coordinate all mechanical and electrical installation works to ensure programme, quality, and safety targets are met. Manage subcontractors, ensuring work is delivered to specification and in compliance with hospital protocols. Conduct daily site inspections, toolbox talks, and ensure adherence to RAMS and all applicable H&S legislation. Maintain close communication with hospital estates teams to mitigate operational disruptions in a live environment. Oversee permit‑to‑work processes, site access, and all associated documentation.
