We have an exciting new opportunity for an electrically biased Site Engineer to join our team based on a project in Teesside.
In this role you will effectively manage and monitor the safety performance, resource deployment and productivity of all site based activities for projects or designated area of control. Providing accurate and concise information to project management, and ensuring all frontline workforce are engaged, informed and motivated.
This is a permanent staff position with NG Bailey.
Drive all site activities to ensure that the safety first and foremost message is visible and alive throughout all activities relating to the project or designated area. Provide the workforce with optimum opportunity to perform at the highest level through effective use of planning, organisational and motivational skills. Ensure effective visibility of supervision from start of each shift and throughout the working day. Drive your project or area to maximise its productivity and profitability by carrying out duties contained within the supervisor responsibility matrix. Be a key member of the project leadership team, demonstrating gravitas and authority in the carrying out of your duties. Review the project scope of works, including installation methods, to ensure the precise provision of the customer’s requirements, while maximising efficiency and profitability. Contribute to the production of/and lead delivery of the project programme, carrying out associated duties in accordance with the supervisor responsibility matrix. Understand the financial and commercial objectives within your area, ensuring that he delivery of engineering solutions is managed and installation is deployed in a way that achieves these objectives. As required, provide accurate and timely information to project management Deploy a high level of engagement and communication to maximise team performance. Identify and take responsibility for performance issues. Maintain regular dialogue and positive relationships with the project customer through the efficient delivery of project objectives. To be successful in this role you will have demonstrable building services experience in a construction environment, and previous experience in a similar role.
Apprenticeship in electrical discipline Obtaining security clearance also may be a requirement, therefore all candidates must have been resident in the UK for a minimum of 5 years Specific experience of working on high value projects
