Contract Type: 16-month fixed termWorking Hours: 07:30 - 17:00, Monday to FridayRate: £350-400/day Umbrella rate, dependent on experienceSummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Site Engineer to join a dynamic project team on a 16-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting out, producing as-built drawings, quality assurance, reviewing design drawings, and supervising site works to ensure compliance with design and quality assurance processes. This role requires strong attention to detail and experience in highways and structural engineering. The Site Engineer will work closely with the project team to ensure that all site activities are delivered safely, on time, and to the required standards.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform setting out and produce accurate as-built documentationReview and interpret design drawings and specificationsSupervise site works to ensure compliance with design and QA processesImplement and maintain quality assurance procedures on siteLiaise with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholdersMonitor progress and report on site activitiesEnsure temporary works are supervised and compliant (where applicable)Maintain accurate records and documentation related to site activitiesSkillsCSCS card (essential)Setting Out qualification (essential)SSSTS (desirable)Temporary Works Supervisor qualification (desirable)Strong attention to detailExperience in highways engineeringExperience in structural engineeringAbility to read and interpret technical drawingsGood communication and supervisory skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamSoftware/ToolsCommon CAD and setting out software (not specified)Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Certifications & StandardsCSCS card (required)SSSTS (desirable)Temporary Works Supervisor (desirable)Please send CVs to JBRP1_UKTJ
