We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a major tunnelling and shafts infrastructure project in Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a technically challenging scheme with an immediate start, offering a competitive daily rate on an Outside IR35 (CIS) basis.
Role Overview
As Site Engineer, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of tunnel and shaft construction works. You will be responsible for accurate setting out, quality control, and technical support to site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification.
Key Responsibilities

Setting out for tunnels and shafts, including lines, levels, and reference points
*
Setting out and checking FRC (Fibre Reinforced Concrete) works
*
Carrying out and overseeing surveying activities, including as-built surveys
*
Maintaining and managing survey control networks
*
Interpreting drawings, specifications, and method statements
*
Ensuring works are completed in accordance with design and quality standards
*
Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and design teams
*
Producing accurate site records, reports, and QA documentation
*
Supporting health, safety, and environmental compliance on site
