Site Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a live highways scheme in Oxford on a short-term contract.
Role Responsibilities:
*
Setting out for highways works including drainage, kerbing, surfacing and associated civils
*
Working from drawings, specifications and RAMS
*
Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme and quality requirements
*
Liaising with the site team, subcontractors and supervisors
*
Completing as-built records and site documentation
*
Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained at all times
Requirements:
*
Proven experience as a Site Engineer on highways projects
*
Strong setting-out skills (GPS/Total Station)
*
SMSTS or SSSTS preferred
*
CSCS card (essential)
*
Ability to work independently and hit the ground running
Package:
*
£300 – £400 per day depending on experience
*
Immediate start available
*
3-month contract with potential for extension
