Site Welder/Fitter

As a key member of the fabrication and production team, youll contribute to the manufacture of bespoke components and play an important role in delivering high-quality, specialist engineering projects.

Package:

• Hours:Days only
• Salary:Up to £36,000 per annum +overtime paid at enhanced rates
• Contract:Full-time, permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out high-quality welding and fabrication across a range of materials
• Safely operate hand and power tools for fabrication tasks
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Fabricate and assemble components to ensure precision and accuracy
• Operating site-specific power tools and equipment
• Supporting pipework and equipment installation

Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience in welding and fabrication or/and mechanical fitting
• Confident using hand and power tools
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Reliable, motivated, and committed to producing high-quality work
• CSCS card

Desirable:

• Confined Spaces certification
• Coded welding qualifications
• Additional site-related qualifications (e.g. IPAF etc)
