Site Manager (Carpentry) – Swansea Start Date: 30th March 2026 Duration: 5 Weeks

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager with a strong carpentry background or has experience in managing fire door installations to oversee works on a project in Swansea. This is a short-term contract ideal for a hands-on manager with experience in fire door or carpentry-focused projects.

Key Responsibilities include:

* Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard

* Oversee and manage fire door installations, ensuring compliance with regulations and quality standards

* Manage subcontractors and trades, particularly carpentry/fire door teams

* Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations and site procedures

* Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and regular inspections

* Monitor progress and report updates to senior management

* Assist the Project Manager as required

* Maintain quality control and ensure works meet required specifications

Requirements:

* SMSTS

* CSCS Card

* First Aid at Work

* Asbestos Awareness

* Carpentry NVQ or strong carpentry background

* Proven experience managing fire door or carpentry-focused projects
