CIS - £260 - £300 per day

I'm working exclusively with a civil engineering and groundworks contractor with a number of schemes throughout Yorkshire to recruit an experienced Groundworks Site Manager for a new residential development starting in March and April

They have a strong reputation across the region for delivering quality groundworks packages, and with a healthy pipeline of work ahead, this is a great opportunity for someone looking for long-term stability with a respected contractor.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee all groundworks operations on a busy new-build housing site
Manage site teams, subcontractors, and coordinate plant and material deliveries
Ensure works are completed safely, on programme, and to high-quality standards
Keep accurate records and report progress, challenges, and updates to senior management
Build strong working relationships with the client, housebuilder, and internal teams
Requirements
Demonstrable experience managing groundworks packages on residential developments
SMSTS and CSCS are essential
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to manage programme, logistics, and site safety effectively
