OverviewSite Manager – Healthcare Project, Tier 1 ContractorImmediate start | Contract to OctoberThe OpportunityI’m working with a leading Tier 1 contractor on a major healthcare scheme in West London, delivering a new healthcare building. They are looking to bring in an experienced Site Manager to operate as a Floor Manager, taking ownership of day-to-day delivery on a live construction environment.This is a role suited to someone strong on coordination, programme management, and driving trades through to completion.Role OverviewYou will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination, supervision, and leadership of site operations, ensuring programme delivery, Health & Safety compliance, and quality standards are maintained throughout.Key ResponsibilitiesProgramme & Daily Site ManagementDrive daily site activities in line with programme, ensuring progress towards ceiling closures and key milestonesMaintain and update daily progress trackers (MEP works enabling ceiling closures)Identify target areas for upcoming ceiling closure activities on a weekly basisReview programme weekly, identifying delays and implementing mitigation strategiesLead weekly look-ahead meetings covering actions and deadlinesAttend daily coordination (“Black Hat”) meetingsMaintain weekly photographic progress recordsGeneral Coordination & Record KeepingMaintain an accurate and up-to-date site diaryEnsure smooth coordination and logistics across all tradesUse digital systems such as FieldView, Dalux, or ASite where requiredHealth, Safety & EnvironmentalReview and approve RAMS prior to works commencingEnforce site-wide H&S standards in line with company policyIssue permits (e.g. Hot Works) where requiredParticipate in H&S inspections and ActSafe checksDrive behavioural safety initiatives on siteQuality Assurance & InspectionEnsure all technical submissions are approved prior to installationConfirm ITAPs are in place before works beginManage MRI/WIR processes and inspectionsIssue NCRs and manage site deviations where requiredWitness and sign off key testing activitiesSupport inspections with building control and close out actionsCommercial & Reporting SupportRaise site instructions in a timely mannerContribute to monthly reporting and forecastingAssist with tracking variations and project eventsSubcontractor ManagementManage Contractor Design Portion (CDP) packagesChair weekly subcontractor meetings and issue minutesIdentify performance issues and take appropriate actionCandidate ProfileProven experience as a Site Manager on healthcare or complex fit-out projectsSolid understanding of QA processes, inspections, and documentationConfident managing subcontractors and driving programme on siteProactive, organised, and able to operate in a fast-paced live environmentFor the purposes of the Conduct Regulations 2003, Premises Recruitment Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and as an employment business for temporary recruitment.
