About The Role We would like to appoint a dedicated Site Manager to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our site. The role involves ensuring the school environment is safe, secure, clean, and conducive to learning. Responsibilities include managing repairs, health and safety compliance, site security, contractor coordination, and grounds maintenance. The ideal candidate should have strong organisational skills, practical maintenance experience, and a commitment to supporting the school community. Prior experience in a similar role is preferred, and familiarity with standards and regulations is essential. We Are Looking For Someone To lead the estates and facilities function across the school, including in liaison with outsourced cleaning and catering staff. To manage, maintain and develop the physical resources on site to optimise use for staff, students, and the community. To support the Headteacher and the Head of Estates in relation to the management and monitoring of the repairs and maintenance budget. To consistently promote a positive HandS culture across the School. Our Site Manager Should Have
5 GCSEs grade 4-9 (A* - C) including English and Maths Health and Safety at Work qualification (IOSH Working Safely or equivalent) Legionella and Asbestos Responsible Persons Training or willingness to obtain within 6 months Experience in site, estates, facilities or building management Computer literacy Ability to undertake minor site improvement works Strong communication skills both written and verbal Knowledge and experience of health and safety requirements and safe working practices
