Ref.: 26-2702.01 Site Manager Hydro Power Plant Location: Scotland Duration: 2 years Start: 01.04.2026 Kind of Contract: Undetermined Conditions: Upon agreement Sygma is participating to the rehabilitation of an Hydropower plant in the Scotland. In order to comply with all operational and managerial tasks of our customer’s project, we are looking for 1 experimented Site Managers for the site Installation and Commissioning. The construction are taking place in Scotland . We expect our employees to attain complete knowledge of the site execution plan, time schedule, scope of supply / work, scope of civil works, major subcontracts, budget and account structure, status of documentation, EHS plan, site staffing plan, applicable local regulations, restrictions etc. Responsibilities
Mobilize the site and set up of site infrastructure Select and hire local personnel as required Execute daily (if required), weekly and monthly comprehensive reports Set up the site filing and document control system Strategically execute the site Cost Control Strategically execute our Customer’s EHS Policy and the site EHS plan Strategically manage the site schedule, progress of works and costs Set up and strategically execute the site QA/QC plan Carry out both meritorious and disciplinary actions as prescribed by our customer’s regulations Take necessary actions to maintain high site morale Manage subcontracts / subcontractors Conduct daily and weekly meetings with the staff and subcontractors. Management of the operational, administrative and human resources tasks.
Candidates Requirements
University degree (comparable with bachelor / master) or equivalent experience. At least 5 years experience as site manager in construction site, preferably in the power plant or oil & gas industry. Good people management and interpersonal skills; outgoing personality style. High proficiency in English is mandatory. Strong technical knowledge of EHS working practices on a construction site. Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
