Site Manager Day rate: £275–£300 DOE Contract: 2–3 months (with potential for further work) Start: Monday 9 March 2026 Location: Cardiff Overview We’re seeking an experienced Site Manager to run day‑to‑day operations on a Cardiff project with a strong focus on waste control, segregation, and removal. You’ll drive H&S and environmental compliance, coordinate trades and licensed waste carriers, and keep programme and housekeeping standards on track. Key responsibilities * Lead daily site operations; coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and waste partners * Own waste management: segregation plans, skip schedules, collections and logistics * Ensure Duty of Care compliance (waste transfer/consignment notes, carrier checks) * Maintain high standards of housekeeping and environmental controls * Drive H&S: inductions, RAMS, permits and toolbox talks * Keep accurate site records: diaries, progress updates, photos and reports * Liaise with the project team on access, deliveries, interfaces and programme What you’ll need * Proven Site Manager experience with hands‑on waste management responsibilities * SMSTS and CSCS (manager/supervisor level); First Aid ; Asbestos Awareness beneficial * Strong knowledge of waste regulations and working with licensed carriers * Excellent communication, organisation and documentation skills * Availability to start w/c 9 March 2026 in Cardiff for 2–3 months What’s on offer * £275–£300 per day, experience‑dependent * CIS or Ltd company payment options (weekly) * Potential for further assignments (not guaranteed)
