Site Manager – Major Construction Projects

Location: Regional sites with Head Office support

We are recruiting on behalf of a forward-thinking main contractor operating across both the private and public sectors, with exciting and ambitious plans for continued growth. Due to a strong pipeline of major projects, they are looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to support the delivery of large-scale construction schemes.

This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-value projects while being supported by an experienced project and commercial team.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing all on-site activities for major construction projects

*

Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and direct labour

*

Ensuring compliance with health & safety, quality and environmental standards

*

Managing site programmes, short-term planning and logistics

*

Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks and inspections

*

Liaising closely with Project Managers, Design Managers and Commercial teams

*

Maintaining accurate site records and reporting progress

*

Driving a positive, high-performing site culture

About You

*

Proven experience as a Site Manager within main contracting

*

Background delivering large or complex construction projects

*

Experience working across public and private sector schemes

*

Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing and H&S legislation

*

Confident managing multiple subcontract packages

*

SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications (essential)
