Job Description

Highly regarded tier one main contractor are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their well-established team in the North East. For this position you must have delivered commercial build schemes in excess of £10M from start to finish.\n\nRole and responsibilities:\n\n * Reporting to the Project Manager and keeping them up to date with the site schedule\n\n * Liaising with Stakeholders\n\n * Ordering materials\n\n * Resolving any issues within the team or sub-contractors\n\n * Complying to all OHS regulations\n\n * Managing a team of Supervisors and Labourers ensuring everyone knows what is expected of them\n\nRequirements:\n\n * Experience working on commercial newbuild, in excess of £10m\n\n * A thorough understanding of the total project life cycle, from dealing with strategic issues at conception stage, through all of the operational stages to completion and post-project review.\n\n * Excellent knowledge and experience of all of the main project management concepts, tools and techniques.\n\n * Excellent knowledge of construction industry technical matters, such as different procurement routes and value management\n\n * Excellent written and verbal communication skills\n\nThis is a Permanent position and Coleman James Ltd are acting as an Employment Agency
