Freelance Site Manager - Student Accommodation Project (Southampton)

Location: Southampton

We're looking for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee a short-term project on a student accommodation scheme in Southampton.

Role Responsibilities

Manage day‑to‑day site operations and ensure works are carried out safely and on schedule

Coordinate subcontractors and monitor progress

Conduct site inspections and maintain quality standards

Ensure health & safety compliance at all times

Communicate effectively with project teams and stakeholders

Requirements

Proven experience as a Site Manager on residential or accommodation projects

Strong knowledge of H&S and site procedures

SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid (essential)

Ability to hit the ground running and manage a busy site with confidence

Rate

Competitive day rate (paid weekly)
