We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established UK construction contractor specialising in commercial buildings, modular construction, and complex infrastructure projects. The business has a strong track record delivering projects within highly regulated and secure environments, including large-scale energy and industrial developments. With continued growth and secured workstreams on a major Somerset-based infrastructure programme, they are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery of commercial building works within a live construction environment. The Role As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of commercial construction works within a highly controlled site environment. The role requires a confident and organised construction professional with experience managing commercial build packages, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring works are delivered to programme, quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities * Oversee day-to-day site operations on commercial build packages * Manage subcontractors, direct labour and supply chain * Ensure strict compliance with health, safety and site security protocols * Coordinate works in line with project programme and milestones * Monitor quality standards and manage inspections * Liaise with project management, planners and client representatives * Maintain accurate site records and reporting Working within Hinkley Point requires adherence to rigorous safety and compliance standards, so experience in structured, high-compliance environments is highly advantageous.
