Synergy Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting for a -\n\nSite Manager – Residential New Build (Houses & Apartments)\nNear Portsmouth, Hampshire\n14-Month Direct Contract | £50,000 – £60,000\n\nSynergy Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to deliver a new build residential development of houses and apartments near Portsmouth, Hampshire.\n\nA respected regional developer is seeking a proven Site Manager to take full responsibility for a high-quality new build scheme, from superstructure through to final handover. This is a 14-month direct contract with the client, offering long-term stability and the opportunity to lead a flagship housing project.\n\nThe Role\n\nYou will be responsible for the successful day-to-day delivery of a new build housing and apartment development, including:\n\n * \n\n Full site management of a new build residential scheme (houses and flats)\n\n * \n\n Managing subcontractors and direct labour\n\n * \n\n Driving programme, build quality, and health & safety performance\n\n * \n\n Coordinating with the Project Manager, design team, and client representatives\n\n * \n\n Managing logistics, sequencing, and short-term planning\n\n * \n\n Overseeing works from superstructure through to internal fit-out and handover\n\n * \n\n Ensuring compliance with NHBC standards, building regulations, and company procedures\n\n * \n\n Maintaining accurate site records, reporting, and quality documentation\n\nAbout You\n\nYou will be a strong fit if you:\n\n * \n\n Have proven experience as a Site Manager on new build residential developments\n\n * \n\n Have delivered houses and/or apartment blocks from structure to completion\n\n * \n\n Are confident managing subcontractors and driving programme performance\n\n * \n\n Have strong technical knowledge of modern housebuilding methods\n\n * \n\n Lead from the front with a proactive, organised and professional approach\n\n * \n\n Take pride in delivering safe, high-quality, well-run sites\n\n * \n\n Hold SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid (or be willing to obtain)\n\nPackage & Contract\n\n * \n\n 15-month direct contract with the developer\n\n * \n\n Salary: £50,000 – £60,000, depending on experience\n\n * \n\n Long-term project stability\n\n * \n\n Opportunity to deliver a high-profile new build housing development\n\n * \n\n Supportive and well-structured project team\n\nIf you are a driven New Build Residential Site Manager who enjoys full project ownership and delivering quality housing schemes, this role offers an excellent platform to make your mark
