They work hard to create a challenging, supportive, and satisfying working environment for all employees and have successfully achieved the Investors in Foundational Award for their commitment to equality, , and in the workplace.\n \n The Role\n Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Site Manager will take full responsibility for the completion of small to medium-sized cabling projects (or an element of a large project) within the Commercial Buildings & Offices environment under the control of a Project Manager.\n \nLocation: Site-based in London, but there is a possiblity of work around the UK and Europe.\n \n What you will be doing:\n\nOversee a team of supervisors and engineers to ensure all cable installations are installed to specification, on time, and meet both client and manufacturer quality standards.\nEnsure all current Health & Safety requirements are met, carrying out Risk Assessments, drafting method statements, and ensuring all H&S procedures are followed.\nManage stock in a cost-effective manner and ensure sufficient materials are available at all times for efficient installation.\nOrder materials as required.\nCompile progress reports and provide information in a logical format to the Project Manager.\nCarry out quality checks on all works carried out by cabling engineers to ensure all Quality Standards are met.\nRead and understand site drawings, updating them "as and when" work is completed.\nAttend and document client meetings and ensure all required actions are carried out in a timely manner.\nCompile processes and produce documentation as required to meet company and client standards.\nDraw up patching schedules and ensure timely implementation of patching requirements.\nEnsure all required installations are documented as specified.\nDraw up Operations and Maintenance manuals as required.\nAssist in any urgent installation works as and when required.\nEnsure project profitability is maximized at all times.\n What our client is looking for:\n\nIndustry Experience: Proven experience managing installation teams in the cabling infrastructure industry, specifically within Data Centres and Commercial Buildings/Offices.\nTechnical Knowledge: A strong understanding of cabling installation practices, particularly Cat6/Cat6a installations.\nECS Card\nSSSTS / SMSTS\n If you feel you have the required skills and experience, please apply now via our website: (url removed) to be considered for this Site Manager position.\n In addition, feel free to contact our Service Delivery Manager, Lucas Smyth, for more information if required: (url removed) & (phone number removed)
