Job Description

The Opportunity Hays are recruiting a Site Manager to support substation renewal works on a major regional framework. This role involves overseeing multiple sites within the Coventry area and ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality delivery of all operational activities. Your Responsibilities

Develop Health & Safety Plans, Method Statements, and Risk Assessments in line with current SHEQ legislation Liaise with clients, deliver progress meetings, and support audits Supervise and motivate site staff and subcontractors to maintain safe, responsible working practices Ensure all tasks are delivered to agreed timeframes and quality standards Manage day‑to‑day operations with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and teamwork Operate across multiple sites within the NGED framework

Role Requirements

NGED OPS 2B Previous experience on power, utilities, or substation projects Experience operating at Site Manager level. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
