We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to deliver civils and groundwork packages on large-scale residential developments across London and the South East. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established contractor with a strong pipeline of work on high-profile schemes.

The Role
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. You will play a key role in coordinating site teams and subcontractors across a range of civils and infrastructure works.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily site activities across groundwork and civils packages
Supervise and coordinate site teams, including Foremen, Engineers, and subcontractors
Ensure all works are carried out in line with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality standards
Manage site programmes and ensure works are delivered in line with project timelines
Conduct site inspections and toolbox talks
Liaise with clients, consultants, and senior management
Monitor progress, identify issues, and implement effective solutions
Ensure high standards of workmanship and compliance across all site activities
Maintain accurate site records and reportingRequirements

Proven experience as a Site Manager within civils, groundworks, or residential projects
Strong knowledge of drainage, foundations, roads, and infrastructure works
Experience working on large residential or mixed-use developments
Excellent organisational and leadership skills
Strong understanding of HSE regulations and site compliance
SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid certifications
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple prioritiesWhat's on Offer
