Site Manager – Structural Steel London | Up to £65,000 Benefits I’m working with a leading structural steel contractor delivering complex, large-scale steel projects across London. They’re now looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to oversee major structural steel installations on challenging, high-profile builds. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day site operations for heavy structural steel projects Ensure all works are completed safely, on time, and within budget Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and the internal team Maintain strict compliance with health and safety regulations Oversee steel erection activities and manage site-based labour Conduct site meetings, manage programme schedules, and report progress Ensure quality standards are consistently met across all site activities Requirements: Proven experience managing heavy structural steel projects Solid understanding of structural steel erection methods and processes CSCS Black Card – essential and non-negotiable SMSTS and First Aid certifications Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage complex steel structures in high-pressure environments Package: Salary up to £65,000 depending on experience Opportunity to work with a respected name in the UK steel industry Long-term career progression on technically challenging projects To apply, you must currently be working in the structural steel industry and hold a valid CSCS Black Card .
