Site Manager48,000 to 52,000Orpington area, KentFull time Site based gap construction are working with a client on a refurbishment project located in close proximity to a mainline station on the London/Kent Border. The scheme sits within a historically sensitive location, with specific planning conditions in place, so this role will suit a Site Manager who is comfortable dealing with design coordination, planning trackers and stakeholder liaison. This is a hands on Site Manager role, acting as the No.1 on site, overseeing day to day delivery while working closely with the client, design team and external stakeholders. Performance Objectives
Take full responsibility as No.1 Site Manager on site Manage day to day site operations, ensuring programme, quality and safety targets are achieved Deliver refurbishment works including wall insulation and general carpentry and joinery Coordinate subcontractors, labour, suppliers and CDP led trade packages Manage design coordination and respond to technical queries Liaise with the client, consultants and statutory bodies as required Manage planning trackers and ensure all planning conditions are dischargedProduce site diaries, reports and attend progress meetings Maintain a safe, organised and well run site at all times
Person Specification
Proven experience as a Site Manager on refurbishment or similar projects Confident acting as the No.1 on site and running projects autonomously Experience working with CDP packages and design coordination Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and site compliance Well organised with strong communication and stakeholder management skills Kent based is essential. Thurrock based candidates will also be considered SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid at Work are essential
